She writes most often about the Middle East and North Africa, London, US national parks (especially in Utah), Amtrak and train travel, and outdoor adventures. A graduate of the William Allen White School of Journalism at the University of Kansas, she's developed a passion for international travel and shining the spotlight on off-the-beaten-track and underloved places and stories.
